The Lady Royals improved their record to 16-1 with a win over North Central Saturday 55-44.

The Lady Royals were connecting on all cylinders in the first quarter against North Central. They knocked down 6 out of 9 three pointers and limited North Central to just 7 points. There was a slight shift midway through the second quarter and North Central was able to outscore the Lady Royals 12-6. With a half-time lead of 7, the Lady Royals knew North Central wasn’t going away without a fight. The third quarter was a battle on both sides of the ball and ended with the Royals leading 42-35. The girls were confident going into the fourth quarter and knew if they continued to play team basketball they would hold on for the win. As the fourth quarter started, the Lady Royals were able to hold off North Central’s final push and secured their 16th win of the season!

Leading the way for the Royals in scoring were Parrish with 25, Jackson with 11 and Hamilton with 10. Leading rebounders were Parrish with 9, Maulucci with 7, Irvin with 5 and Walton with 4.
