The Lady Royals matched up against Greenfield Central Saturday afternoon at home.

The home team started off hot, with a three point basket by Molly Walton, assisted by Amaya Hamilton. Tayah Irvin crashed the boards hard early in the first, and found Sydney Parrish beyond the arc for three.

Irvin and Parrish started the second quarter much of the same, with an assist and bucket respectively. The Lady Royals looked solid defensively as well, getting several steals off the press, which turned into transition scoring opportunities.

Going into the half, the Lady Royals led by 16.

Starting the 3rd quarter, Erikka Ededuwa snagged an offensive rebound, and Walton got hot from three. The Lady Royals seemed to struggle a bit defensively in the third, but powered through on the offensive lead to keep a 21 point lead.

The Lady Royals wrapped up the game, with solid minutes by all Royals players. Malea Jackson, and Shelby Ford both hit 15-foot jumpers, Hamilton worked the boards, and scored off a put back. The final score was 73-46.

Leading scorers for the Royals: Parrish-18, Walton-13 and Irvin-11. Parrish and Hamilton both added 7 rebounds.
