The Royals lacrosse team was back in action last night. The team had a slow start and was down 3-2 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was also slow but the boys managed to take a 5-4 lead at halftime. After a few adjustment and a spirited half time, the Royals rallied and scored 7 unanswered goals in the 3rd quarter to finish the game 14-6. Game ball went to Senior Cam Smith who’s heart and leadership along with 6 goals led the way in the 2nd half turn around. Ryan Kemp had a consistent 2 goals and 3 assist and Freshman Garrett Smith had a hat trick of his own. Reichart and Peach also saw the net move. Royals are headed to Wisconsin this weekend to take on some tough competition in the Midwest Championship hosted by Kettle Morine High School.
