The Royals beat a very strong, albeit shorthanded Brownsburg team Saturday morning, turning in their best team performance of the year.
The boys won every swimming event en route to a 124-62 victory. Seniors led the way, with Thomas Reising (50, 100 fly), Justin Voelker (200 IM, 100 breast), Keegan Streett (200, 500 free), and Zack Bostock (100 free) leading the way. Junior Ryan Harrison added an individual victory in the 100 backstroke, touching in 57.50.
The 200 medley relay was another highlight of the meet, with multiple performers turning in season-best splits. Sophomore Charlie Rogers, Voelker, Reising, and Bostock took the victory but freshman Jack Waren and Harrison stood out on the fly legs.
The all-senior relay of Bostock, Logan Hess, Reising, and Streett took the 200 free relay, while Streett, Hess, Voelker, and Rogers teamed up to close the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay.
Other standout performers included Waren and junior Matt Truxall in the 200 IM, senior divers Jack Bisesi and Noah Ebeyer, Rogers in the 100 free, junior Noah Haines in the 500, and junior Drew Hershman in both the 500 and 100 back.
Join us in congratulating the Senior Class of 2021: Owen Armstrong, Jack Bisesi, Zack Bostock, Xan Cluff, Blake Dillow, Noah Ebeyer, Logan Hess, Eli Jones, Thomas Reising, Keegan Streett, Malcolm Tarin, and Justin Voelker.
