Boys Soccer Coaches

Head Varsity Coach– Chris White– crwhite@hse.k12.in.us

Coach Chris White is the boys varsity soccer coach.  Coach White grew up as an Army child and lived all over, including several years in Stuttgart, Germany before graduating from Mt. Vernon High School (Fortville) in 1991.  Coach White went on to play 4 years at IUPUI, winning two District championships.  He lives in Fishers with his wife and three children.  Coach White is entering his 20th year teaching and his 7th year teaching math at Fall Creek Junior High.  His wife Angie teaches at Sand Creek Intermediate School.  His son Jacob graduated from HSE in 2019 and is entering his second year at IU.  His oldest daughter, Sydney, will be a senior and graduate from HSE in 2021.  His youngest daughter, Gabby, will be a 7th grader at Fall Creek Junior High this fall.

The 2020 season will be Coach White’s tenth season as Hamilton Southeastern’s boy’s varsity soccer coach (101-52-24 HSE record) and 23 year as a high school head coach (277-113-47 overall record).  During Overall, Coach White’s teams have won 7 conference, 12 sectional, 4 regional championships.  Coach White also was part of the creation of FC Pride where he coached for 15 years before switching to the Indy Premier boys coaching staff for the past 4 years.  Coach White has United Soccer Coaches Association National and Advanced National Diplomas, along with the Special Topics High School Coach and Goal Keeper 1 and 2 certificates.  Coach White is extremely proud of the athletes he has had the privilege of coaching through the years and is thankful for the continued opportunity to be a part of such a great community, school, and program.

 

Varsity Assistant Coach– John Hornaday– hornaday.john@gmail.com

Coach John Hornaday has grown up in the Hamilton Southeastern school district all his life.  He has been involved in soccer, one way or another (player, ref, coach), ever since he was 4 years old.  He graduated from HSE high school in 2002 where he played soccer and threw shot put and discus.  He graduated from Taylor University in 2007.  He currently lives in Fortville with his wife, Lori (also ’02 HSE grad), daughter, Madison, son, Liam, daughter, Makenzie, and daughter, Maci.  He just earned his national “D” soccer coaching license this past year and will work towards earning his national “C” soccer coaching license at a later date.  This will be his 10th year coaching boys soccer at HSE entering the 2021 season.

JV Head CoachEddie Reichert– Eddie@golitkodaly.com

Coach Reichert enters his second season as a member of the HSE coaching staff.  A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he played travel soccer for several top clubs and was a member of the Ohio South olympic development team. He attended Mt. Healthy High School where he was a four-year varsity starter and is currently the all -time leading goal scorer with 79 career goals.  In 1991, he was named the Cincinnati High School player of the year.

Coach Reichert earned a four-year athletic scholarship to play soccer at the University of Charleston.  At Charleston, he scored 59 goals and accumulated multiple awards including First-Team All-Conference in 1994 and 1995.  In 1995, he was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association and Umbro First Team  All-South Atlantic team.  Following undergrad, Coach Reichert had a brief stint with the Cincinnati Riverhawks of the A-League prior deciding to end his playing career to attend physical therapy school at The Ohio State University.

Coach Reichert is currently an attorney and focuses his practice helping injured Hoosiers.  He lives in Fishers, Indiana with his wife and three kids.

 

9th  Head Coach– Steven Gorski– sgorski@hse.k12.in.us

Steven Gorski is the freshman boys soccer head coach. This will be his 3rd season as the Head Coach of the freshman boys and 7th year with the soccer program overall. He played for HSE for 2 years during high school. He also coach boys basketball at HSE and boys golf at FCJH. This will be his 3rd season for both of those sports. He teaches 7th grade math at FCJH.

 

Goalkeeper Coach– Luke Bodayla– lbodayla@gmail.com

Coach Luke Bodayla grew up in Davenport, Iowa and played soccer at Central High school before attending Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Currently lives in Noblesville. 

Coaching/Player:
Played collegiate soccer at Aurora University, Aurora Illinois 1988-1991. Four year starter, selected to All NIIC (Northern Illinois Intercollegiate Conference) team in 1990, Team Captain, Team MVP.  Holds school records for lowest goals against average (.61), most shutouts career (24) and most shutouts in a season (10)

Notable Achievement: Played for Chicago Power (NPSL) 1993.
College Coaching: Goalkeeper coach for Butler University Women’s Soccer 1997-1998.
