On Friday, June 8 in East Lansing, Michigan the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (IATCCC) named Mr and Miss Track and Field 2018. Camille Christopher was named Indiana Miss Track and Field, as the top track and field female that graduated in 2018. Camille was a 7-time individual All-State and 3-time relay All-State athlete for the Royals. She scored a total of 44.25 state meet points in her career, the most ever for a Lady Royal. As an individual she placed 9th, 4th, 6th, and State Runner Up in the 200 dash over 4 years at the state meet as well as 4th, 4th, and 3rd in the 100 dash over 3 years. She anchored the 4×100 relay to its best finishes in HSE history; 3rd in 2016, State Champs in 2017, and State Runner-up in 2018. She also help lead the entire to team to its’ best finishes in school history – State Runner Up in 2017 and State Champions in 2018. Camille holds school records in 3 events as well. 100 M Dash – 11.66, 200 M Dash – 24.09, and 400 M Relay – 47.19. Camille will attend Purdue University in the fall to continue her track and field career.
