Hamilton Southeastern is excited to announce that Alex Martin Csiernik and Ally Stein have been recommended to coach the varsity football/competition cheer squad.
Alex cheered at Indiana University and coached (3) years at IU while teaching at Danville High School. Alex and her husband will be relocating from LaGrange, Georgia. Alex is finishing up her second year at LaGrange High School where she teaches English and coached cheerleading. Alex will be teaching English 9 and 9 Honors this fall at Hamilton Southeastern.
Alex was member of IU’s All Girl National Championship squad as both an athlete and as a coach, she comes very highly recommended, we are very excited to have her as both a teacher and a coach at Hamilton Southeastern.
We could not be more excited to bring Ally Stein back to the Hamilton Southeastern cheer program. Ally graduated from Hamilton Southeastern in 2013 and is on HSE’s Wall of Fame as an all state cheerleader. Ally was also a member of our track team as a long jumper. Ally went on to cheer at Purdue University where she was a team captain and was voted Most Inspirational by her teammates.
Ally currently teaches 1st grade at Harrison Parkway Elementary and this past year coached cheer at Fishers High School.
“I am extremely excited to have Coach Stein and Coach Csiernik lead our cheer program, their passion and enthusiasm for cheerleading is contagious. I like that they come from different collegiate experiences, I think that will be a real positive. They both believe in the value of education based athletics and the life lessons that are learned through participation. I am excited for them to work with and build relationships with our cheerleaders on and off the mat.” Jim Self, Athletic Director
