Royals News · Coach Kaylee Johnson resigns as cheer coach at HSE.


Coach Kaylee Johnson has decided to resign from coaching cheerleading after 30 years at Hamilton Southeastern.  “The time here coaching has been an experience that has taught me so much.  I will forever Bleed Blue!”  “I am blessed and humbled by the amazing cheer memories, and the cheer families that I have been surrounded by.”

Coach Johnson’s Team’s Accomplishments:

  • 30 years coaching cheer at Hamilton Southeastern
  • Coach of the Year- Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) – 2003 & 2007
  • IASP Varsity State Championships (9 total) – 1995, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012
  • IASP State Runner Up – 1998 and 2017
  • IASP Junior Varsity State Championships – 1991, 2005 & 2008
  • 37 – IASP All-State Cheer Team selelections
  • 10 – Academic All-State Cheer Team members
  • National Champions –  2013
