Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Workday
Mark your calendars… The 15th Annual Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Workday is Saturday, March 24th.
On June 6th, 2003, former Hamilton Southeastern student-athlete Carrie Colglazier, was tragically killed by a drunk driver. Carrie was a two sport All-State athlete in soccer and track and was very involved in the FFA program here at HSE. She was also a member of National Honor Society. Carrie was extremely passionate about her family, friends, teammates and her teachers/coaches. She took great pride in being a Royal.
In cooperation with her parents, Hamilton Southeastern has set up a scholarship fund in honor of Carrie. This will involve a workday on Saturday, March 24th. On this day the girl’s track and soccer athletes, as well as our National Honor Society and FFA members, will be available to work for an 8 hour day for a minimum $25 donation. All proceeds will go to the Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Fund. A $12,000 scholarship will be awarded at the senior academic awards night in May.
