Game Recap

For the 2nd and final game of the Fishers Shootout, the Lady Royals took on Southport.

The Lady Royals lit up the 3 point line to begin the game, with threes by Malea Jackson, Molly Walton, and Tayah Irvin all in the first quarter. At the end of the first, the Royals were up 16-8.

In the 2nd quarter, the Lady Royals stayed hot offensively. Amaya Hamilton worked hard under the basket, with back to back plays for the Royals. Shelby Ford hit a jumper in the lane, and Sydney Parrish assisted Irvin and Lauren Morris, both for two, to end the half.

The Lady Royals had several players in the 2nd half, score their first buckets of their varsity career. Jackie Maulucci hit a 3 from beyond the top of the key in the third. Erikka Ededuwa crashed the boards offensively, and scored off a put back to begin the 4th quarter, and Lydia Self sank a three late in the game.

Taking home their 2nd win of the weekend, the Lady Royals topped Southport, 65-30. Parrish led the Royals with 16 points, and Walton tallied 14 rebounds.
