Game Recap

In identical scores to the Mudsock match exactly a month before, the JV Royals volleyball team concluded a superb season by claiming the trophy in the HSE JV Invitational over the Fishers Tigers in straight sets. Audra Hogan and Allie Yancey played strong in the clutch, and the outstanding receive and defense of libero Lillian Leiner would not allow the hard-fighting Tigers any room to score. Had injured back court specialist Jordan Englemann been able to play, the Tigers would scored even fewer points. The JV squad, which coach Larry Leonhardt cited as the best JV team he’s seen in over 30 high school seasons, finished with an outstanding 27-2 record, losing only 4 sets the entire season by a grand total of 7 points. The team also extended a winning streak of every tournament entered to six years. Please congratulate these ladies on a fantastic season and for representing Hamilton Southeastern so well.
