“Hamilton Southeastern High School’s motto is to “Promote Respect, Foster Pride, Inspire Excellence.” Throughout my HSE athletic career, being a Royal has meant serving as a role model for the school’s values. In regards to Promoting Respect, I have learned that being a Royal was not just about respecting one’s own craft, but showing respect to the opposition, even taking the high road when it is difficult. Fostering Pride has come through service, specifically participating in philanthropic initiatives and setting the example in and out of our athletic endeavors. And above all, being a Royal is Inspiring Excellence by displaying putting the best foot forward in preparation and performance, mentally and physically.”
“For me, being a Royal gave me a whole extra gear. It allowed me to accomplish amazing things in and out of the water. Winning is great, but the relationships and lessons that are gained at Hamilton Southeastern High School is what I will remember. Being a Royal has changed my life and I will never forget a second of it.”
