Game Recap

The Lady Royals traveled to Fort Wayne on Sunday for two games. In the first game the girls defeated the Homestead Spartans 16 to 4. The girls were able to spread the ball around very well producing 9 different scorers. The Royals were led on the offensive end by Senior Emma Connell (5). Emma had 6 points on 4 goals and 2 assists. Juniors Avery Szot (7) and Lauren Madden (3) along with Sophomores Rachel Harris (43), Kayla Sundling (16) and Alyssa Limback (35) all chipped in 2 goals apiece with Harris also adding 3 assists.The Royals led the possession game earning 13 of 22 draw controls. Both Sundling and Harris walked away with 5 draw controls in the game while defensive player Sophomore Avery Eichler (77) added 2 draw controls and 3 defensive ground balls. The Royals defensive had another great game. In all they produced 8 forced turnovers.
