Game Recap

It was a beautiful weekend for lacrosse and the HSE JV Lady Royals recorded a home victory over Bloomington. The Royals had contributions from all players and their 16 goals were scored by 11 different players. At the opening of the game, Shelby Schneider took possession of the opening draw, ran the length of the field and buried her shot in the lower right of the goal. The Royals kept the pressure on by winning the majority of the ground balls and controlling the possessions. Freshman Royal, Briana Smart, recorded 5 goals and 1 assist and junior Sydney Smith scored twice and added two more assist. The defense fought hard and at half time gave themselves the goal of securing the shut-out. They came out in the second half and shut down Bloomington’s attack and gave sophomore rookie goalie, Ava Allen her second win and first shut-out of her career. Great job Lady Royals!
