Game Recap

The Royals boys soccer team traveled to Westfield last night without their starting keeper. Early in the game, their leading scorer, Matt Kuster, went down with an ankle injury. The rest of the team stepped up, as Cale Barnes scored the winning goal. The Royals had plenty of other opportunities to add to the score, but struggled on the finishing touches. However, Michael Flores-Rodriguez got his first varsity start and along with the rest of the defense, was able to shut out Westfield and preserve the victory. HSE is now 9-1-1 on the year and 4-0 in the conference. The Royals will now host Mt. Vernon on Thursday for their annual pink game. Please come out and help support your Royals and a great cause.
